More weird weather. Weird for this part of Northern California, in any case. The plants seem to enjoy it, though. They're thriving in the cooler June weather, and the higher humidity.

Cleaned the house today. Deep clean. Cleaned all the things.

Then, I had a cocktail on the patio.

I also neglected my dissertation because I’m really good at that.

The mint is thriving with this wet weather. Besides the lavender, this potted Mentha spicata seems to be the only plant that tolerates the lack of sunshine and excessive rainfall. Also, can’t wait to spruce up the backyard and make it pretty again.

This past weekend, Northern California received record amounts of rainfall. And, more is on the way. The drains in my backyard were overwhelmed, creating a puddle of water that drained into the pool. Now, the pool is temporarily green due to the high concentration of phosphates.
