This site, like many other blogs, is an attempt to document my life. It also serves as an outlet while I pursue a doctoral degree...because that dissertation is probably the most difficult work I have ever attempted.
This site and its subdomains, for print work and for my research notes (locked), serve as a method for reclaiming my data, my words, and my images from the social media machine. At least, it feels like I'm regaining some control. Maybe it's just an illusion.
There is no magic, only context.
