Easter Monday

Returning to work tomorrow. Not super happy about it. And, while I didn’t make much progress on my dissertation this past week, I do feel like I was able to clarify some key arguments in my research.

This book helped me see the ways in which the big players in edtech have altered the landscape of education. While the book focuses on social media, the ties to education and organizational leadership are intriguing.

*and I’ve begun to wonder how the fall of the bird site and the rise mastodon tie into all of this.

Rahm wins The Masters. Tiger barely made the cut, and withdrew prior to round 3. Easter brunch with the folks.

I’ve decided that listening to golf on the radio is as boring as watching it on tv, or even watching it live. Rain delay today. Looks like Tiger Woods might make the cut, though. And, I’m a bit rain delayed this morning too. It rained here from midnight until 2pm.

Departed Long Beach early this morning. Stopped once at Tejon Ranch for gas and once again at Coalinga/Avenal Rest Area. That place was a dump, but northbound I-5 got worse from there. Miles on the interstate were choked down to one-lane for pothole repair. Upside: the Lexus handled superbly. Also, it needs the bugs scraped off the grill.
