My dad put this together about 10 years ago, gluing each pencil on to a cardboard backing. All the golf course pencils he had collected over the years, on full display in a simple aluminum frame. When he and mom sold their house last year, he had put this frame into the trash pile. I told him I wanted it.
And, it hung in the guest bathroom until today, when my son decided he wanted it for his apartment in Reno. I’m sad to see it go but I know it’s in good hands and will be treasured for many more years.
