Got to see the Great Reno Balloon Race this morning before leaving town. Also, saw a few Burning Man vehicles on the road.
Road trip to Reno. Watched the University of Idaho Vandals clobber the University of Reno Wolfpack. Staying at the “new” J Resort, which is the recently renovated Sands Casino. Not sure I’d call it a resort but it sure was better than the Peppermill and Grand Sierra Resort.
Reno and back in the same day. Left at 8am, and returned home at 6:30pm. Moved the boy into his new apartment unit. Installed a new shower head, unloaded two cars stuffed full of bins, and got to spend time with him. That made the trip worthwhile.
Made it to Reno. Packed the Jeep full. Went to Pine Street Biscuits for lunch. Drove home and unpacked.
