Seeing this print from House Industries makes me miss printing. I did treat myself to a bundle of prints for Christmas. And, I’ll be buckling down on that dissertation so I can get back to printing this time next year.

The data collected from digital platforms, social media, smart devices, and the Internet of Things (IoT) are very much rational proxies with proven predictive power when aggregated at scale. The real question is whether the knowledge extracted from these technological systems is a sound – indeed reasonable – representation of our lived experience, upon which we can build governance structures and autonomous “generative” agents that have real and life-changing impacts.

On the walk today 

I always like seeing this grass that grows by the duck pond. I like the way it sways in the breeze, and provides me a nice little moment of zen. 
The fall colors along the trail make me happy, too.

The older you get, the funnier using stupid internet slang becomes. The other day someone on Discord told me their mom was younger than me and I said skill issue. I can't wait to still be doing this shit in the nursing home.
